Digital Imaging 12
DI 12 is a fairly fast paced and challenging course. Attendance is mandatory. Although you set your learning speed – you are expected to keep on track and perform each and every day. Most students find it difficult to catch up even after missing just one class.
Marks are determined by the following:
Unit lessons and tests: 40%
Unit Exams (8): 30%
Major Project (1): 30%
Expectations:
You are expected to use class time efficiently to complete all exercises and assignments.
You are responsible for all information covered in class. If a class is missed, it is up to the student to get notes and assignments from the teacher or another student.
Missed quiz:
If you are absent and it is unexcused, you will receive a score of zero
If you are absent and it is excused, the quiz will not count towards the final grade.
Missed test:
You are expected to write the test your first day back.
Assignments:
All assignments are to be complete and handed in on time.
Late assignments:
They will be accepted until the solutions are posted or the unit ends, which ever comes first. There will be a 50% penalty on all late assignments.
Homework:
You should be able to complete assignments in class time. The lab will be open two lunch hours per week for extra computer time. In addition, work may be completed on designated library computers or at home.
